Do these look acceptable to you? Mais non! Ils ne suffiront pas!*

The machine absolutely must go into the shop. How am I to work under such ghastly conditions? This is deplorable! I must say, though, that my thesaurus is working smashingly tonight.
* They will not suffice!
Here is the rabbit pelt in question.

I am leaving to sew it up. We’ll see how the hare fares, otherwise it will be Hasenpfeffer Soup for this one.
Went to a graduation party this weekend but not just any graduation party, an airshow graduation party. Her father owns a crop dusting company, enough said.
Helicopters

Planes

And of course go carts.

The next day (today) I came home, picked my negligent ass up and finished that dress (minus buttons) that has been sitting around while I have been too enamored with the sunny days and long evenings to even think about venturing into the dark, dank basement to work on it.

No, I have not dyed my hair, it is oddly the darker of the two colors featured here, and yes, I am taking donations for a hairbrush.
Here’s my first use up nasty yarn that sits around and tangles up and mocks me for buying yarn that has a purpose when it is just sitting arou and being annoying. It is a stocking for my grandma loosely based on a pattern found in the December 2004 issue of Martha Stewart Living. The offending yarn is Lion Brand Wool-Ease left over from a machine knitting class. It’s not this lumpy when it’s not stuffed with odd tights and socks and a tooth.

I got some. My favorite yarn store ever is going out of business, so sad so Len called me from Wisconsin so I could put in my last orders. At 30% off. In anticipation of this yarn I decided to start using up some of my crappy yarn that has haunted me since I learned how to knit. Here is my unseasonable Christmas stocking as of last night. It is almost done now, but I didn’t feel like uploading new photos.

Here is my new yarn, all nice and pretty in a row.

And in unrelated news my first two strawberries were ripe for the pickin’ on Monday. Mmmm, if only they tasted as good as they look which is a lot bigger than they actually were.

I am! I am! At least with my tooth that is. It’s only Tuesday and I’ve already worked 20 hours this week. Perhaps something semi-interesting tomorrow. Mildly interesting, here is a photo of my dresser, the most wonderful dresser in the world.

For my birthday a few days ago we high tailed it over to the White Fence Farm. We used to eat there quite a bit when I was younger and back in that day the town of Lemont really wasn’t much of a town. Now, however, the White Fence Farm is surrounded by warehouses, everywhere. The chicken was great but the giant chicken outside was the best.

Luke got me this delicious little Le Creuset pot. Yum.

These are actually almost finished, just need to get smaller slipper sole bottoms, but I won’t have those until Wednesday.

Tonight I put the straps on what I like to call my bobble top but what is really the Tubular Camisol from Glampyre. As we all remember this is the second try on this one and I am pretty happy although somehow I had to take almost 4″ off the circumfrence. I am pretty confused about this since I got gague on the first try but much to my dismay the top, if not held up by my arms, would fall past my hips, a stumper since I am not any tinier than the next person. So anyway here is it.

This weekend was very busy yet not busy at all. Luke’s opening on Friday night and walking around and eating food at Hannah’s Bretzel the next day. Yum. Here is a photo of our food.

This is the banner I want on my tooth. This is the stupid stupid wordpress theme that won’t let me have it.

I quit, but of course I can make my old snaggle tooth look like a beaut. Well close enough anyways, I don’t want to spend time making an old site look good. But damn you new snaggle tooth. I loved you. I still do, I won’t let you feel my negativity. (old snaggletooth)
