which may look a bit purple in this photo but are, in fact, a super cute grey suede.

While on my extensive blog sabbatical I created a small collection for Fashion Focus Chicago which is Chicago’s own little fashion week, I supposed actually I started a little line, called EKSTADT which was my grandma’s maiden name. When they emigrated from Sweden, for some reason, her father made up his own last name, quite similar to the more common last name of Ekstedt. Anyway…so now I have a website, kind of. I have a little pay by the month one but I’m hoping to cajole one of my more html/flash inclined friends to create a website for me.
I haven’t gotten around to finishing the photo shoot, only 3 looks were done at the time of this shoot, but hopefully over Christmas Break on a little thesis break, we will stage a new one. Here’s two of the looks…
i haven’t posted on here in forever, honestly i’ve been very busy. july/aug i had an internship in nyc and after that i had one month to get 6 looks together for a city sponsored fashion show.
perhaps i’ll post this weekend?
My sister got me this super cute planter for my birthday. It’s made by perch! which is handmade in Brooklyn. So cute!
I also planted some lavender in a pot that formerly housed a flowering plant that will do much better in my mom’s back yard.
Here is a picture of my new eggplanter in my studio where it matches perfectly!
Yesterday I planted some herbs in this little herb pot I got for my birthday. I hope they do well.
Today I wore my new summer skirt, which I have cleverly decided to call, the summer linen skirt.
Both the skirt and the pattern for the skirt are made by me.
